About myself
I was an electric engineer before I resigned from a local private company in 1999 to spend full time taking care of my two children, one being six years old and the other a few months old baby boy at that time.
Under my care and guidance, my two children got admitted into the best secondary schools of Singapore, namely Raffles Girls’ School and Raffles Institution in the year of 2005 and 2011 receptively. Since my children have grown up, I would like to share my experiences accumulated over past years through taking care of other children.
About my family
My husband works in a local research & development laboratory as a principal member of technical staff. He is also a senior adjunct research scientist in both NUS and NTU. My daughter is in her third year in a US university and my son is currently a secondary three student in Raffles Institution.
As my two children have grown up, I had started to be the legal guardian for children from other countries two years ago. There are three children in my home currently, one is from South Korea and he is a grade 7 student studying Canadian International School. The other is from China, he is a primary 4 student in Lian Huan Primary School. The third one is also studying at the Canadian international school Grade 1.The three children have been making huge improvements and progress in their academic studies since they were under our guardianship.
About my house
I am staying in a 3-room unit in Regent Heights condominium located in the Bukit Batok area. All the condominium facilities (gymnasium room, playground, putting green, sauna, 24-hour security, swimming pool, tennis courts, and wading pool) are available. To avoid the horrible morning traffic, my husband sends the children to the Canadian International School everyday.
