Description
Our family consists of 5 people. Myself (Indonesian), my husband (Singaporean), one daughter, one son and my mother-in-law.
My husband works as a building consultant and I used to work for a business and management consultancy company. He is an experienced engineer engaged in construction. He worked in Indonesia for 8 years, and Thailand building shopping malls, hotels and office buildings.
I was born in Indonesia, grew up and study in Australia for 8 years. I stayed in a homestay when I first arrived in Australia. I really understand the feelings and needs of children who live far away from their family for studying and getting good quality education. Therefore, I am very confident to offer and accept homestay students.
Our daughter is 22 years old. After she finished her Polytechnic, she is now pursuing her University studies in Manchester, United Kingdom. She is a confident, smart and outgoing girl. She was one of the finalist in Miss Global Singapore 2013.
Our son is 8-year-old. He is a smart boy, obedient and like to exercise. He actively involves in school sports activities. He is a sociable, friendly and like to make friends.
At home we stayed with my mother-in-law and a maid from Indonesia. Our maid is very good, attentive and diligent. Every day she looks after my mother-in-law, my son, cleaning the house, and laundry. My mother in-law is very attentive to the children and to everyone at home. Although she's already 70 years old, but she is still healthy and exercise regularly.
We have 3 bedrooms in our apartment. The available room for homestay is my daughter's room who is currently in United Kingdom.
